1. Agreement to these Terms
By inviting Modulr to a Discord server, logging in through Discord, using the Modulr website, accessing the dashboard, configuring modules, using commands, contacting support, or purchasing Premium, you agree to these Terms of Service and the policies linked from them.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use Modulr and should remove Modulr from any Discord servers you manage.
2. What Modulr provides
Modulr is a Discord bot and web dashboard platform for managing Discord servers. It is intended to give server owners and authorised staff a clean, central place to configure modules, manage server tools and improve community management.
Modulr is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Discord Inc. Discord is a third-party platform and Modulr depends on Discord’s API, permissions, availability and platform rules.
3. Accounts and dashboard access
Modulr uses Discord OAuth to identify users and display Discord servers they may be able to manage. You are responsible for keeping your Discord account secure and for ensuring that only trusted users have permissions that allow them to manage Modulr settings.
Access rules
- You must only access dashboard areas, servers and settings you are authorised to manage.
- You must not attempt to bypass login, permission checks, server ownership checks, Premium checks or dashboard restrictions.
- You are responsible for changes made through your account where those changes were caused by your own actions, shared access, compromised devices or unsafe permission management.
- Modulr may restrict dashboard access where needed for security, abuse prevention, fraud prevention, policy enforcement, technical protection or support investigation.
Dashboard and account restrictions
Modulr may restrict, suspend, limit or block a user’s access to the website, dashboard, account features, Premium management, code redemption, support tools or other Modulr services where needed for security, abuse prevention, payment protection, Terms enforcement, platform safety or investigation of misuse.
Restricted users may be prevented from logging in, managing servers, assigning Premium slots, redeeming codes, using dashboard features or accessing certain Modulr services.
4. Server ownership, staff permissions and bot permissions
Modulr may allow server owners and authorised staff to manage bot settings for Discord servers. Access is usually based on Discord account identity, Discord server membership, server permissions, bot permissions and Modulr’s own checks.
Server owners are responsible for ensuring Modulr has the correct permissions to operate and that staff roles are assigned carefully. Some features may not work if Modulr lacks required Discord permissions, if Discord limits an action, or if the server configuration conflicts with the intended module behaviour.
Staff responsibility
If a server staff member uses Modulr to create, delete, edit, moderate, announce, log, automate or configure something, the server owner remains responsible for how their staff use those permissions.
6. Dashboard configuration and server content
Modulr allows authorised users to configure messages, embeds, channels, roles, moderation settings, logs, automations and other server tools. You are responsible for the content and settings you create through Modulr.
- You must not configure Modulr to post illegal, abusive, exploitative, hateful, harassing, misleading, fraudulent or malicious content.
- You must ensure role, permission and moderation settings are appropriate for your server.
- You should test important settings before relying on them in a live server.
- Modulr may remove, restrict or disable settings that create security risks, service abuse, platform abuse or policy violations.
Dashboard-submitted content restrictions
Modulr may review, scan, flag or restrict dashboard-submitted content, including messages, embeds, forms, polls, giveaways, ticket panels, auto messages, welcome messages, level-up messages, moderation reason presets, announcement content and other configurable text, where needed to detect potential Terms violations, unsafe content, spam, abuse, restricted NSFW or pornographic content, malicious content or other high-risk use.
Modulr may block, flag, review, disable or remove content submitted through the dashboard where needed to protect the service or enforce these Terms.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use Modulr to break Discord’s rules, break the law, abuse users, distribute harmful content, evade moderation, mislead people, interfere with Modulr systems, scrape data, attack the service, or access areas you are not authorised to access.
More details are available in the Acceptable Use Policy.
Examples of prohibited use
- Raiding, spam, botting, harassment, threats, doxxing, phishing or malware distribution.
- Using Modulr to support scams, fraud, stolen goods, chargeback abuse or payment abuse.
- Using Modulr in a way that encourages illegal activity, exploitation or serious harm.
- Attempting to bypass Premium restrictions, dashboard limits, security checks or bot protections.
8. Bot removal, blacklisted servers and restricted communities
Modulr may leave, block, restrict or refuse service to Discord servers or users where we believe there is abuse, fraud, security risk, illegal activity, Terms violations, Discord rule violations, payment abuse, or other high-risk behaviour.
Modulr may use manual review, internal guild blacklists, user restrictions, abuse reports, support investigations, server metadata, server names, server descriptions, tags, channel names, role names, onboarding information, welcome information, permission signals or other available signals to protect the service.
Modulr may automatically leave or refuse to operate in servers that appear to be primarily focused on pornographic, sexually explicit, NSFW, illegal, exploitative, abusive, malicious, fraudulent or otherwise high-risk content or activity. This may include servers where the server name, description, channels, roles, tags, dashboard-submitted content or other available signals indicate that the server is not suitable for Modulr.
Modulr may add servers to an internal guild blacklist where a server is detected, reported or reviewed as unsuitable for the service. If a blacklisted server attempts to add Modulr again, the bot may automatically leave.
User and server restrictions
Modulr may restrict individual users from accessing the dashboard, account features, Premium management, server settings or other Modulr services where needed for security, abuse prevention, Terms enforcement, payment protection, fraud prevention or support investigation.
Where appropriate, Modulr may revoke access, unassign Premium slots, disable modules, restrict dashboard access, prevent the bot from being used in certain servers, or record internal safety logs for review.
Enforcement actions
Where necessary, Modulr may flag a server for review, mark a server as safe, add a server to a watchlist, blacklist a server, force the bot to leave a server, restrict a user, revoke manual Premium access, block Premium code redemption, disable access to certain features, or take other reasonable action to protect the service and enforce these Terms.
Restriction reviews and appeals
If you believe your access or server has been restricted by mistake, you may contact Modulr Support. Modulr may review restrictions case by case but is not required to restore access where restrictions were applied for security, abuse prevention, payment protection, Terms enforcement or service protection.
Automated detection is used to support safety and enforcement, but it may not detect every harmful server immediately and may require manual review in some cases.
9. Availability, development and service changes
Modulr is provided as an actively developed service. Features may be changed, improved, limited, paused, removed, renamed or replaced as the platform evolves. Some features may depend on Discord availability, Discord API limits, hosting providers, Stripe, third-party APIs or other external services.
We aim to keep Modulr reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, permanent feature availability, or compatibility with every Discord server configuration.
10. Data, privacy and policies
Modulr processes data needed to operate the bot, website, dashboard, account system, Premium access, billing sync, abuse prevention and support. More detail is provided in the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and related policies.
You should not send full card details to Modulr support. Payments are intended to be processed through Stripe, and Modulr should only store billing identifiers and entitlement state needed to manage Premium access.
11. Liability and limitations
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Modulr is not liable for indirect losses, loss of revenue, loss of server activity, incorrect configuration by server staff, Discord outages, third-party platform issues, payment provider issues, data loss caused by misuse, or damage caused by unauthorised access to your Discord account or server permissions.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including your statutory rights where applicable.
12. Changes to these Terms
Modulr may update these Terms as the service develops, especially when new Premium features, billing options, server slots, add-ons, dashboard modules or legal requirements are introduced.
Where changes are important, Modulr may update the website, show a notice, post in the support server, or require users to accept updated terms before continuing to use certain features.
13. Contact and support
For support, policy questions, billing issues, refund requests, account issues or Premium access problems, contact Modulr through the official support server or the support contact method shown on the website.
When contacting support about billing, include your Discord user ID, the server involved if relevant, the plan purchased and a short explanation of the issue. Do not send full card details.
